The Wanderland Music and Arts Festival is just a few days away and we couldn’t be more excited. We’re hyped not just cause some of our favorite musical acts performing in one venue, but also because there’s just so many things to see and do at the festival. Here are just a few Wanderland 2020 activities you can look forward to:
No Wanderland Festival would be complete without art installations for wanderers to admire and interact with (all the better to take amazing OOTD snaps with, amirite?). You’ll also be able to see the whole artistic process for some works, because artists will be making live art at the festival. This year’s featured live artists are Alagadngsining, Amiel Rivera, Faith de Leos, and Wika Nadera.
If you’ve taken part in any of the Wanderland Pre-Game events, you might have donated recyclable materials or old clothes. At the actual festival, you’ll be able to feel the satisfaction of seeing where your donations went: either in an art installation or at an activity to personalize reusable bags.
This year’s Wanderland is all about sports, so bring your A-game and engage in a little friendly competition at The Homecourt or at sponsors’ bases. There, you can shoot some hoops, practice your target skills, play a bit of mini golf, and more!
All the action-packed excitement of Wanderland is bound to have you peckish, so it’s great that there will be loads of yummy food selections available at the festival grounds.
You’re bound to have an amazing time at Wanderland 2020, which is why you’ll probably be jumping at the chance to nab tickets to next year’s festival. Make a point to visit all the sponsors’ booths to get a chance to win Wanderland 2021 tickets!
Big music festivals like Wanderland are a great way for us to see our favorite international acts, but Wanderland also makes it possible for us to discover and support local artists — either familiar names or acts that are completely new to the game. Earlier, the festival hosted San Miguel Wanderbattle, a competition that let amateur bands battle it out for the opportunity to play at the festival. The winners were Morobe, a 6-piece neo-soul pop band, and The Sundown, a new wave and indie pop group. Look forward to watching them play — they could be the next big thing in OPM!
If you haven’t gotten the chance to check out the Wanderland lineup, oh baby what is you doin feast your eyes on this beauty:
We were already excited about their lineup, but Wanderland got us even more hyped when they announced last weekend that they’re adding Thai “Lover Boy” Phum Viphurit to their lineup. To say that we’re psyched would be the understatement of the year.
Still haven’t got your festival passes? Head over to PURVEYR Post, Crema & Cream Coffee Roasters, Nook CoWorking Studio, or online at wanderlandfestival.com to get your tickets. Don’t miss out on the fun!
