The ZenFone 3 camera packs a whopping 16MP. It utilizes the latest Sony IMX298 sensor, allowing it to perform well even in low-light situations. Added gizmos are the ASUS TriTech autofocus, phase detection autofocus and contrast detection autofocus: all are combined to center in on the image in just 0.03 seconds. The selfie-obsessed are not left out with the ZenFone 3’s 8 MP front-facing camera. There is also a Beauty Mode boost. Just in case you need it.
Using the ZenFone 3 was a breeze; there were no glitches experienced during the testing period. This is thanks in large part to its internal specs. 4GB RAM, Adreno 506 GPU, and a Snapdragon 625, all power the ZenFone 3.
ASUS’s ZenUI model had a lot of critiques, and it seems that ASUS took all these into consideration in crafting the ZenFone 3. What we now have is essentially a sleek and clean ZenUI. You’ll also find the built-in apps pretty useful this time instead of being annoying, specifically the Mobile Manager which really helps you clean the clutter from time to time.
What makes ZenFone 3 remarkable is its value for money. The 5.2-inch model will only cost you P16,995 while you will only shell out a bit more for the 5.5-inch model (P18,995 SRP). Its performance and premium features are mostly reserved for smartphones worth twice its suggested retail price. Bang for your buck, indeed.
