Still on a Stranger Things Season 4 high? The first look of its final chapters is already out and while we wait for Volume 2 in July, you might be busy rewatching the series from its first season or getting to know the filmography of its phenomenal cast. We’ve prepared this list of shows and movies where you’ll catch your favorite Hawkins gang:
Her role: Winona Ryder is Joyce Byers, Will and Jonathan’s mom. In the fourth season, we saw her living the WFH life in sunny California until she received a porcelain doll from Russia. She reconnects with Murray Bauman to decode the message enclosed in the doll and ends up on a rescue mission to Russia, to save Jim Hopper.

Jo March in Little Women (1994)
Lelaina Pierce in Reality Bites (1994)
Susanna Kaysen in Girl, Interrupted (1999)
His role: While we wept at the end of the third season, David Harbour returns as Jim Hopper in Stranger Things Season 04. We thought we’d see the last of him! Stuck as a prisoner in Russia, Jim, together with other prisoners prepare for battle and fights for their lives against the Demogorgons the government keeps in hiding.
Where you’ve seen him:
Hellboy in Hellboy (2019)
Red Guardian in Black Widow (2021)
Dexter Tolliver in Suicide Squad (2016)
Gaspar in Extraction (2020)
Her role: It wasn’t just the Byers family who moved to Lenora Hills, California. Millie Bobby Brown, also known as Eleven or Jane in the new state, tries to live a normal life in her new high school. Further into the season, we saw her reunite with Papa or Dr. Brenner as she trains to regain her powers and remember her grim past.
Where you’ve seen her:
Enola Holmes in Enola Holmes (2020)
Madison Russell in Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)
Young Alice in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (2013)
Madison O’Donnell in Intruders (2014)
His role: An OG member of the Hawkins kids we can’t get enough of, Finn Wolfhard or Mike Wheeler flies to California at the beginning of spring break. He reunites with his girlfriend Eleven and learns about her struggles with her peers. They get separated once more once the government interferes and Eleven is taken to regain her powers.
Where you’ve seen him:
Richie Tozier in It (2017)
Trevor in Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
His role: Joe Keery is Steve Harrington, also known as the gang’s babysitter. In Season 4, reassures Nancy Wheeler that he and Robyn are just platonic soulmates with a capital “P” – are they having a comeback? Steve is also the first to enter the Upside Down after volunteering to dive into Lovers Lake.
Where you’ve seen him:
Kurt Kunkle in Spree (2020)
Walter McKey in Free Guy (2021)
Duke Goolies in Death to 2020 (2020)

His role: Brett Gelman gave us laughs this season in his role as Murray Bauman. Joyce Byers reconnects with him as she seeks his help in giving Russian translations. The duo sets for Russia to save Jim, where we saw Murray finally have a real-life application of his taekwondo skills. Go Murray!
Where you’ve seen him:
Isaac Lachmann in Lemon (2017)
Martin in Fleabag (2016)
His role: Jamie Campbell Bower’s complex role in Season 4 may just be one of the best villain origin stories ever written. He is One, Henry Creel, and Vecna – a revelation that’s still blowing our minds. How is he able to switch from friendly to terrifying in a second? Will Eleven be able to defeat him in the end?
Where you’ve seen him before:
Jayce Wayland in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013)
Caius in Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) and Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (2011)

His role: Joseph Quinn is Eddie Munson, a new eccentric character we were introduced to in the show. He’s the Hellfire Club’s leader and key witness to the death of Vecna’s first victim in Hawkins High, Chrissy. Fingers crossed he gets absolved from being wrongly accused!
Where you’ve seen him before:
Koner in Game of Thrones S07 EP 04 (2017)
