Having a stock of menstrual products for those unexpected red days is always a good idea. But in case you didn’t know, sanitary napkins actually have an expiration date. Most sanitary pads have a five-year expiration date, while some should be used within three years (though you should always check the product itself!). In case you find yourself with a surplus, here’s where you can donate your extra sanitary napkins:
Established in 1989, this non-profit organization is committed to ending violence against women and to creating a supportive and affirming space for women who survived battering, rape, sexual harassment, prostitution, and sex trafficking. WCC has centers across the country, but their main office is in East Avenue Medical Center.

This transient home by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) provides basic social welfare services and temporary shelter for 2 to 6 months to strandees, vagrants, and mendicants.
Location: Jose Fabella Center, Barangay Addition Hills, Correctional Road, Mandaluyong City
This center helps deaf women who are victims of domestic violence such as sexual abuse, rape, sexual harassment, and physical abuse. Any donations will be used to improve the self-esteem and standards of living of deaf women,

A center run by the Religious of the Good Shepherd (RGS), the Heart of Mary Villa is a safe place that welcomes pregnant women who have been cast away, abused, or left with no one to turn to. They also shelter surrendered or abandoned infants and children and prepare them for permanent homes that will welcome them.

A women-led non-profit organization, the We Bleed Red Movement aims to fight period misinformation. They educate and advocate for menstrual equity, menstrual health and hygiene, and menstrual visibility in the Philippines.

This volunteer group is focused on helping kids and elderlies battling long-term illness and disease, providing outreach programs to indigenous communities, and helping victims of natural calamities. They also make efforts to feed the homeless and provide them with basic necessities.
