Looking for New Dramas to Watch? These New Titles Will Be Added to Netflix This June

We have all been looking for the next K-drama to binge-watch and fall in love with since Crash Landing on You. Thankfully, Netflix will be adding new titles to its catalog this June. Let’s get lost in the land of fantasy, action, comedy, and kilig!

 

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

In this romantic drama, a health care worker and an author suffering from an antisocial personality disorder end up healing each other’s emotional and psychological wounds. It’s Okay to Not Be Okay stars lead pair Kim Soo Hyun (My Love From the Star, The Moon Embracing the Sun) and Yeo Se Ji (Hwarang).

Netflix is yet to give a specific launch date for this title, so keep your eyes peeled for announcements.

 

My Shy Boss

This romance-comedy drama was launched in January 2017. Yeon Woo Jin portrays an extremely introverted CEO of a public relations firm. His life is thrown out of order when his company hires a new employee portrayed by Park Hye Soo.

My Shy Boss is available for streaming on Netflix starting June 1.

The Tale of Nokdu

The Tale of Nokdu is a period drama set in the Joseon dynasty. It revolves around a young man played by Jang Dong Yoon who, while on the run for his life, disguises himself as a woman and enters a women-only village. There he meets Kim So Hyun (Love Alarm, Hey Ghost Let’s Fight), an apprentice to become a gisaeng, a courtesan in training.

The Tale of Nokdu is available for streaming on Netflix starting June 15.

 

Angel’s Last Mission: Love

Shin Hye Sun (The Legend of the Blue Sea, She Was Pretty) is a cold-hearted ballerina who lost her eyesight due to an accident. Kim Myung Soo (Welcome, Ms. Hammurabi) is an angel who is being punished for meddling in human affairs. He needs to face the impossible task of finding a soulmate for the cold-hearted ballerina.

Angel’s Last Mission: Love is available for streaming on Netflix starting June 15.

My Fellow Citizens is available for streaming on Netflix starting June 15.

 

Lovely Horribly

Strange events haunt a charmed actor and an unlucky writer, who unknowingly share one fate: whenever one is happy, the other is miserable and unfortunate. They begin working on a TV drama together and mysterious things slowly take place around them. Lovely Horribly stars Park Si Hoo (My Golden Life, The Princess’ Man) and Song Ji Hyo (Running Man).

Lovely Horribly is available for streaming on Netflix starting June 15.

 

Doctor Prisoner

After his career is sabotaged by the wealthy, a doctor gets a job at a prison seeking vengeance on those who are too powerful to be governed by the law. Doctor Prisoner stars Namgung Min (Remember: War of the Son) and Kwon Na Ra (Itaewon Class, Suspicious Partner). The series has won multiple awards including Outstanding Korean Drama during the 14th Seoul International Drama Awards.

Doctor Prisoner is available for streaming on Netflix starting June 15.
