Lifetime free flights plus miles

AirAsia has given Diaz lifetime free flights. “Hidilyn is the perfect example of what it means to be an Allstar, by embodying AirAsia core values of Dreaming Big and Making it Happen,” said AirAsia Spokesperson Steve Dailisan. “We thank her for reminding us that being the world’s best is second to serving the Filipinos.”

Philippine Airlines has also honored the Olympian miles for life. Diaz is entitled to 80,000 miles per year, making her the airlines’ first forever flyer.

 

P5 million and free fuel for life

Phoenix Petroleum pledged to give Diaz P5 million in cash through its Siklab Atleta Pilipinas Sports Foundation Inc., plus a lifetime of free fuel.

“It was our vision when we organized the foundation to rally the private sector to help our athletes in their quest for the Olympic gold, and now we have our first gold medal. I wish Hidilyn the best and we shall continue to support our Filipino athletes so we can have more golds in the future,” said Phoenix Petroleum Philippines chairman Dennis Uy.

 

Cash incentives

Diaz is poised to receive a total of P38.5 million cash incentives, including Phoenix Petroleum’s reward. Here’s everything else she will get:

• P10 million from the government through Republic Act 10699 or the National Athletes and Coaches Benefits and Incentives Act
• P10 million pledged by Manny V. Pangilinan through MVP Sports Foundation
• P10 million pledged by San Miguel Corporation President and CEO Ramon S. Ang
• P3 million pledged by Deputy Speaker Mikee Romero
• P2.5 million from the local government of Zamboanga, Diaz’s hometown

 

P14-M worth of condo unit from Megaworld

Tycoon Andrew Tan announced that Megaworld will be giving Diaz a residential condominium unit in Eastwood City valued at P14 million.

“This epic moment is about 97 years in the making, and this is our way of saying thanks to Hidilyn for making us all proud. We believe that it’s just right to give our first-ever Olympic gold medalist a home in our first-ever township, Eastwood City, where she can enjoy the township lifestyle with her family and loved ones” says Kevin L. P4-M worth of house and lot from Century Properties

Diaz will get a single-attached house and lot valued at P4 million from PHirst Park Homes Inc. She can also choose which from PHirst Park Homes’ 8 communities in Luzon to reside at.

 

House and lot in Tagaytay

Philippine Olympic Committee president and Representative Abraham Tolentino said that they will be giving Diaz her own house and lot in Tagaytay. This is the third residential property the Olympian is set to receive.

 

Van from FOTON

A Philippine Air Force promotion

Aside from being an Olympian, Diaz is also part of the Philippine Air Force (PAF). In 2014, she was promoted from Airwoman to Airwoman Second Class. After her success in the 2018 Asian Games, Diaz was promoted to sergeant. Now that she brought home Olympic gold, she has been promoted from sergeant temporary to staff sergeant.

“The Philippine Air Force through its Commanding General approved the promotion of Sgt Hidilyn Diaz effective 27 July 2021 to the rank of Staff Sergeant,” said Armed Forces of the Philippines chief Cirilito Sobejana.
