If your Starbucks card gets more action than your credit card, this update is worth knowing. Starting July 21, 2026, Starbucks Philippines is rolling out a new Starbucks PH App along with a refreshed Starbucks Rewards program that gives members more flexibility in how they use their Stars. The biggest and most exciting change is that you no longer have to wait until you hit 100 Stars to enjoy a reward!

Previously, every 100 Stars automatically converted into a voucher that you could use for a free handcrafted drink, bakery item, or slice of cake. With the new Multi-Tiered Rewards system, you’ll be able to decide when to redeem your Stars and what to redeem them for, with rewards starting at just 50 Stars.

Here’s what you can get with the new Starbucks Multi-Tiered Rewards system

Under the new rewards program, members can choose from three redemption tiers:

• 50 Stars: Redeem for a free drink customization (excluding breve and 2 oz heavy cream) or choose from select treats like a bagel, doughnut, or slice of banana loaf.
• 100 Stars: Get a handcrafted beverage (excluding Coffee Traveler Kit, French Press, and Reserve Ice Cream beverages) or a bakery item.
• 150 Stars: Treat yourself to heartier menu items, including sandwiches, pasta, or a slice of cake.

Just remember: Rewards need to be redeemed through the app before placing your order at the counter.

There’s also a new Starbucks PH App

Alongside the revamped rewards program, Starbucks is launching an all-new Starbucks PH App, available for download on the App Store and Google Play beginning July 21.

The new app comes with several improvements, including faster sign-in and real-time Star tracking, making it easier to keep tabs on your rewards.

If you’re already a Starbucks Rewards member, you won’t have to start from scratch. Your account details, load balance, and existing Stars will automatically transfer to the new app—just log in using your current credentials.

Reward vouchers will also remain valid for 90 days, but there’s one welcome change: since you’ll now choose when to redeem your Stars, the 90-day countdown only begins once you’ve claimed your reward.
