Art Walk 2026: All the Installations, Events, and Performances You Can Enjoy for FREE in Makati

Feb 4, 2026   •   Kyzia Maramara

Now in its third year, Art Walk by Ayala Land returns as a citywide cultural experience that brings art into the everyday spaces of Makati—spanning the Makati Central Business District and Circuit Makati. Running from January 30 to February 8, and throughout Art Month this February for select art installations and activations, the Art Walk features a series of installations, performances, and creative activations that unfold across the city over the course of the month, inviting repeated visits and discovery.

Conceived as a complement to Art Fair Philippines, the Art Walk reflects Ayala Land’s long-held belief that art plays a vital role in shaping communities and enriching how cities are experienced. For Ayala Land, culture is not an add-on to development, but a core layer of community-building—something that gives meaning to public spaces and invites people to connect more deeply with their surroundings.

Art beyond the fair, into the city

While Art Fair Philippines anchors the contemporary art conversation, the Art Walk extends that experience beyond the fair venue and into the city itself – into places where people already walk, gather, shop, commute, and spend time.

This year, the Art Walk unfolds across a diverse range of public spaces, including Ayala Museum, One Ayala Terminal, the Paseo pedestrian underpass, Greenbelt, Glorietta, Ayala Triangle Gardens, Ayala Malls Circuit, and the future site of the contemporary arts center in Circuit Makati. From museums and malls to parks, pedestrian pathways, and a transport hub, the range of locations reflects a clear idea: art belongs everywhere, not only in formal or expected settings.

By intentionally spanning from the Makati CBD to Circuit Makati, the Art Walk creates a cultural thread that runs across the city—linking districts and communities through shared creative experiences.

With Art Walk spanning multiple districts, mobility becomes part of the experience. There are also free shuttle services operating between Ayala Triangle Gardens and Circuit Makati through February 8. These shuttles will let you move comfortably between the CBD and Circuit.

The overall experience design and visual system of the Art Walk was created by artist and designer Dan Matutina. As an artist himself, Matutina approached the design from the perspective of how art is encountered, interpreted, and felt—shaped by how artists hope their work will be discovered, and how audiences naturally move, pause, and connect with a piece. His work establishes a clear visual language and identity across districts, helping visitors navigate the Art Walk with confidence.

At its core, the Art Walk is a platform for artists—particularly Filipino artists—presented alongside international artists in the same public spaces. This positioning places local talent in a global creative context and affirms the strength of contemporary Philippine art on an international stage.
Across February, audiences can encounter not only visual art, but also performing arts, installations, and a range of art-related activations that bring different forms of creative expression into public space.

Anchored in Circuit Makati’s creative identity

The Art Walk’s extension into Circuit Makati reinforces the district’s long-term creative direction. Circuit was envisioned from the outset as a place where arts, performance, and public life intersect—anchored by venues such as the Samsung Performing Arts Theater and future cultural developments.
At the same time, the Art Walk’s presence across the rest of Makati highlights an important idea: creativity in the city is not centralized, but woven into its everyday fabric.
