Did You Know There Are Passports You Can Collect in Metro Manila?

Oct 14, 2026   •   Edgardo Toledo

There’s something so satisfying about collecting stamps or little souvenirs from the places you visit. Maybe it’s proof you didn’t just spend your weekend bedrotting, or maybe you’re a devout completionist at heart. The point is, some passports let you start filling them out without waiting for a flight. Some are free, some cost a few pesos, and some are even prizes you can win by joining special activities. Here are five novelty and tourism passports to look out for around Metro Manila.

Chinatown Museum Historian’s Passport

HOW MUCH: PHP 50
WHERE TO GET IT: 4th Floor, Building A, Lucky Chinatown, Reina Regente Street, Binondo, Manila
OPERATING HOURS: Tuesday to Sunday: 10 AM to 6 PM

Eat your way around Binondo and collect stamps while you’re there. Tucked inside Lucky Chinatown, the Chinatown Museum offers a deep dive into Binondo’s rich history with a Historian’s Passport to log your visit as you walk through thematic galleries and exhibitions.

Intramuros Passport

HOW MUCH: PHP 350
WHERE TO GET IT: Major Intramuros sites
OPERATING HOURS: Check out Intramuros’ operating hours here.

Intramuros is already one of Metro Manila’s easiest places to live your main-character-in-a-historical-drama fantasy. Might as well get a passport while you’re there. The Intramuros Passport lets you visit major participating sites like Fort Santiago, Casa Manila, and Baluarte de San Diego while collecting stamps along the way.

National Museum of the Philippines Passport

HOW MUCH: PHP 450
WHERE TO GET IT: Shops at the National Museum of Anthropology, the National Museum of Fine Arts, and the National Museum of Natural History
OPERATING HOURS: Monday-Sunday, 9AM to 6PM

The NMP Passport is back after its limited-edition run during International Museum Day. Each passport lets museum visitors collect stamps from different National Museum branches and regional components nationwide. If you’d like to get one for yourself, it’s available for PHP 450 at the National Museum of Anthropology, the National Museum of Fine Arts, and the National Museum of Natural History.

In the coming weeks, the NMP Passport will also be made available for purchase at the regional component museum shops,

Quezon City Explorer Passport

HOW MUCH: FREE
WHERE TO GET IT: The Quezon City Explorer Passport is available every Tuesday at the following museums: Quezon Heritage House, Bahay Modernismo, Tandang Sora Women’s Museum
OPERATING HOURS: All three museums are open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 AM to 4 PM

Who said you can’t be a tourist in your own city? The Quezon City Explorer Passport lets you collect stamps while you’re on a full-on museum-hopping day. Think of it as a cute little reward system for touching some grass (instead of doomscrolling) and learning your local history.

Presidential Museum Passport

HOW MUCH: FREE (as a prize)
WHERE TO GET IT: Through the Presidential Museums Reflection Activity
OPERATING HOURS: Tuesday to Sunday: 9 AM to 5 PM

If you’re a history buff who loves a good challenge, this one’s for you. As part of Museums and Galleries Month 2026, the Presidential Museum is inviting visitors to share their reflections, discoveries, and memorable moments from their visit from October 1 to 25. And among the prizes up for grabs? A Museum Passport.

Although you can’t pick it up at the museum, it’s still worth keeping on your radar if you’re planning to visit the Presidential Museum this October. Check out the mechanics here.
