This New Makati Gym Has Six Zones, a Booty Builder Area, and Memberships Starting at P999

May 12, 2026   •   Kyzia Maramara

It’s almost the middle of the year, and we know you’ve been meaning to go back to the gym. And if what’s been stopping you is finding one that doesn’t feel like it was designed exclusively for people who already know what they’re doing, BeFit Makati might be exactly what you’ve been waiting for. The gym chain quietly made its mark in Alabang, and now it’s officially landed in the heart of Makati at PNB Makati Center on Ayala Avenue — because putting a gym where people actually live and work just makes sense. It celebrated its grand opening on April 28, 2026, and if the Alabang branch is anything to go by, expect it to fill up fast.

What is BeFit, exactly?

BeFit is a gym chain built around the idea that a great fitness experience shouldn’t be a luxury. Memberships start at P999 with cancel-anytime options. The Makati branch spans 1,300 sqm and can comfortably accommodate up to 200 members at a time, with lighting that’s genuinely flattering (great for progress pics!).

Six zones in one gym

The floor is divided into six distinct zones, each built for a specific kind of workout:

  • Be Active: The cardio zone where guests can find treadmills, bikes, and the works.
  • Be Dynamic: Functional training area and home to BeFit’s HYROX classes, if you’re at that level.
  • Be Powerful: Dedicated strength-building zone for the lifters.
  • Be Bootiful: Yes, there is a dedicated Booty Builder zone for targeted glute workouts.
  • Be Energized: A studio built for group classes: Zumba, Yoga, Spinning, Body Jam, K-Pop, Pilates, and more. These were consistently fully booked at the Alabang branch, so once it’s available in the Makati branch, you’ll definitely want to reserve your slot early.
  • Be Relaxed: Coming soon: a recovery area with massage chairs for post-workout unwinding.

Here’s a closer look at the zones:

BeFit is built for everyone

BeFit aims to be inclusive and welcoming to both the newbie and the seasoned buff. BeFit COO Tania Machado puts it plainly: “We make high-value fitness experiences attainable, especially for those who have never been able to get memberships before.”

“The space is welcoming, especially for those who are not necessarily fitness enthusiasts. We have an in-house physio and nutritionist for a more holistic approach to health,” she added.

BeFit Floor Coaches are also stationed throughout the floor, ready to help whenever you need it. There are Personal Trainers available for customized plans, an in-house physiotherapist, and nutritionists who can build out meal plans, whether you’re trying to build muscle or just figure out what to eat after leg day. It’s a more holistic approach than most gyms at this price point offer.

How to sign up for BeFit Makati

BeFit Makati is now open at PNB Makati Center, Ayala Avenue. Memberships start at P999 with cancel-anytime plans.
