After almost a month of silence, Australian doctor-YouTuber Doc Adam is back on YouTube to drop yet another vlog truth bomb. His recent upload is basically a follow-up on him further debunking natural medicine specialist Dr. Farrah Agustin-Bunch, even after the latter previously sued him the past month. Doc Adam’s comeback on social media was celebrated by his millions of subscribers, and in response for their support, he also created witty limited edition merch.
Farrah, Inaabangan ko parin ang debunk na sinasabi mo. Mag-papasko na, wala pa din. Oh my Repolyo Bilisan mo na. Ipakita mo sa lahat kung paano “Chilli Saves our lives from heart attacks” ” Garlic is the best for cancer” sa totoo lang, paubos na ang repolyo dito dahil sa payo mo. pic.twitter.com/qSdrbvhVZo

The feud isn’t over. Doc Adam brings out his sassy side as he called out Dr. Farrah to follow-up on her promise to upload a video debunking him. He added screenshots of Dr. Farrah’s Facebook comments (receipts, you know) where she said “Big debunking videos require showing science, not shaking your head dismissively and claiming you’re right.”
“Farrah, inaabangan ko parin ang debunk na sinasabi mo. Mag-papasko na, wala pa din,” Doc Adam tweeted. “Sa totoo lang, paubos na ang repolyo dito dahil sa payo mo.”
He also questioned why Dr. Farrah made a paid Facebook post to presumably boost its reach when she already has 3.7m likes on the page.

Sa mga nagtatanong, YES, you can buy buto’s new tees now available sa website ko. Hindi lang ako doctor at investigator, salesman din ako haha ha. 50% of profit will go to Phil Cancer Society to actually help people with cancer. Salamat 🙏🏽 pic.twitter.com/Gl2RPOkHfF

To celebrate his comeback on social media, Doc Adam even had a surprise for his followers – limited edition cabbage merch. Repolyo or cabbage memes are inspired by Dr. Farrah’s video claiming a simple cabbage compress can help heal anything in your body from swelling to arthritis.
Choose between two shirt designs: one that boldly says “I studied CABBAGE at HARVARD” and another that’s a cute animated version of your favorite repolyo. If you’re interested, both are available on his website for P499 each until Nov. 15 only. Still thinking about it? Doc Adam says 50% of the profit will go to the Philippine Cancer Society to help treat patients. Plus it’s going to be a cool inside joke when you come across someone wearing the same shirt.
Following his “Goodbye YouTube” video a month ago, Doc Adam’s half-hour-long upload entitled “Ang TOTOO” further talked about Dr. Farrah and her claims. The Australian doctor thanked his friends, family, and supporters who rallied behind him and defended his name the past few challenging weeks.
Posting a video tonight and I’m dedicating this to all the people who supported me, the healthcare workers who made me feel na hindi ako nagiisa sa laban na ito, and to all the creators/influencers who showed their support.
I will never have the courage if it weren’t for u guys.— Doc Adam (@docadamsmith) November 8, 2020
He is a man on a mission and that is to provide correct medical information no matter what the cost. His beef with Dr. Farrah isn’t his first and it definitely looks like it won’t be his last either. “Ang TOTOO” cracked down on Dr. Farrah’s claims, the overpriced products she sells, and even runs through articles on health frauds and questionable practitioners that mentioned Dr. Farrah’s name. It’s almost like a satisfying medical version of Buzzfeed Unsolved.

Doc Adam has always told his subscribers that the internet is rife with medical misinformation and fake news. He has never shied away from correcting anyone spreading misinformation and that apparently includes celebrities. Heart Evangelista’s post about garlic being great for high blood had the doctor reacting. But if you scroll through the replies on both tweets, you’ll find that people don’t actually believe her. We’re counting it as a win for Doc Adam since the general public now knows that while natural ingredients are healthy, it can’t possibly cure grave illnesses.
Doc Adam pushes my will to educate others while learning in the process.
Educate rather than condemn, thank you Doc! pic.twitter.com/kCcSAykEEA

After he dropped his “Ang TOTOO” video, those who watched took to Twitter to express their support for the doctor. Many appreciated how Doc Adam handled the entire thing professionally (albeit his frustrations) and made a point to stick to facts. Others were encouraged to “look for scientific evidence” and not blindly believe testimonials online. For what it’s worth, Doc Adam is slowly but surely accomplishing his goal to help educate Filipinos.
Doc Adam is back with a new video debunking a dr…
His videos encourage us to look for scientific evidences not only stories told by people. As a dental student. We read articles, studies and even defended some of these to our CI/panels for thesis. Everything must have basis pic.twitter.com/HMFxhe9khU

The Facebook group Dr. Farrah Agustin-Bunch Experience and Stories has now ballooned to 22k members. There’s still a regular stream of people sharing their horrible experiences and warning others to be cautious about Dr. Farrah’s questionable methods. You can’t help but sympathize with those who shared about worsened illnesses worsened or family members passing away after seeking the “natural medicine method.” But at the same time, you clearly see Doc Adam’s impact on the community and how more Filipinos are being educated on the basic rights and wrongs of medical health.
What do you think of the Doc Adam vs. Dr. Farrah feud?
Kyzia spends most of her time capturing the world around her through photos, paragraphs, and playlists. She is constantly on the hunt for the perfect chocolate chip cookie, and a great paperback thriller to pair with it.
