(Noun) Just like ghosting, slow fade is when a person gradually cuts ties with you. You’ll receive less and less text from them until they passively fade away from your life.

Stashing

(Verb) Probably the worst dating move ever, stashing is the act of “hiding” your significant other from your friends, family, and even on social media because they think of you as a temporary thing only.

Sliding Into Your DMs

(Verb) This classic social media move is when you see someone on Facebook or Instagram and you find them attractive, you slide into their dms to get to know them in a non-platonic way.

Thirst Trap

(Adjective) A thirst trap kind of photo is when a suggestive photo of your crush pops up on your Instagram timeline.

Cuffing Season

(Noun) It’s here! February a.k.a. Valentines month a.k.a. cuffing season! Who would want to be single and alone during hearts day? The other cuffing season is Christmas time.

FBO

(Adjective) The most important dating move, FBO simply means “Facebook Official”. The self-explained term is the changing of your status in social media, making your relationship official for the world to see.
