Bottom line is, just like with our confusing love lives, we need to be more careful when we’re handling our coins. We also need to keep in mind that the design and production of this coin went through and was decided by a lot of people. BSP themselves said that the design is for deterring counterfeiting and improving wear and corrosion resistance capabilities. This new coin also saves BSP minting costs.
Let’s just be grateful we’re capable of redesigning our coins! And keep your eyes peeled people!
