Any photo of an adorable animal is sure to light up your mood, so just imagine how you’d feel when you’ve got photos of an adorable pet with their equally adorable owner? Which is exactly the case for these handsome and beautiful Korean celebrities who have pets just as adorable as they are — if not more so. You should follow their social media accounts now if you want your daily dose of cute.
Park Seo Joon’s Simba
The Instagram account of Park Seo Joon (What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?, Hwarang) is full of this white little fluff ball. His bichon frise is often featured in the actor’s photos, accompanying him in his schedule of shoots and presscons and whatnot. And we honestly envy the cuddles they have together — can someone hug me the way Park Seo Joon hugs Simba?
Park Min Young‘s Leon
No, this is not the same dog as Park Seo Joon’s. Though they may look alike, Leon is simply the same breed as Simba — a bichon frise. This adorable pup makes frequent appearances not only in the Instagram posts of Park Min Young (What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?) but also her vlogs on Youtube.
Suzy’s Damon
Bae Suzy (Vagabond) once said that she can’t live without Damon, who often features in her Instagram posts. The singer-actress is such a big fan of The Vampire Diaries that she named her dog after her favorite character on the show (Damon Salvatore, for those who didn’t watch). But don’t be fooled — Damon’s actually a girl, despite her masculine name.
Jennie’s Kuma and Kai
Fans of BLACKPINK’s Jennie get a glimpse of her dogs when she posts cute photos of her together with Kuma and Kai in matchy outfits or lounging about on set. A pomeranian and a cocker spaniel, Kuma and Kai are absolutely adorable just like any other dog, except they definitely live a high life. She even got one of them on the cover of Vogue Korea. When will any of us ever . . .
Fun fact: all the members of BLACKPINK actually own pets! Along with Jennie, Jisoo and Rosè also have dogs, while Lisa has a cat. Rosè also used to have pet fishes.
Yoo Seung Ho’s Simba and Gaeul
Last October, Yoo Seung Ho (I’m Not a Robot, My Strange Hero) went viral when he adopted two cats from a then-famous YouTuber. But when an exposè got out last May saying that the YouTuber abused the cats, netizens expressed concern over the adopted cats. But rest assured, Yoo Seung Ho is taking care of the two cats, now named Simba and Gaeul. They’re doing well with their new owner, and we’re sure that he really loves them. Before adopting these two, the actor also took care of four other cats: Samwori, Myongwori, Harry, and Chungji.
SUPER JUNIOR Heechul’s cat Heebum and dog Kibok
Who said cats and dogs can’t get along? They can actually live under the same roof, just like these two animals with SUPER JUNIOR’s Heechul. The Russian blue cat Heebum and Jack Russell Terrier dog Kibok can even share a bed with their owner.
Park Shin Hye’s Harry and Moon
Park Shin Hye (The Heirs) is a definite animal lover. While her most recent posts with her pets featured her cats Harry and Moon, she actually has several dogs and cats, some named Bongji and Nori, which are two white Maltese.
BTS V’s Yeontan
All the members of BTS have had at least one pet, with many of them still taking care of their own at home (or staying with their parents when on tour), but one of the famous pets is Yeontan of vocalist V. The black and tan pomeranian was adopted when the band is already well into their career, so the fluffy baby really was put into the spotlight. He seems to adore it though, just as much as fans do. He even gets to go on playdates with Simba, since V and Park Seo Joon are also close friends.
