You Can Play “Pokémon Pokopia” Inside This Pokémon Truck Roving Around Malls

Oct 2, 2026   •   Kyzia Maramara

If you spot a giant Pokémon-themed truck while you’re out and about in the next few months, you’re not imagining things. The Pokémon Truck is officially touring Metro Manila starting October 2, bringing Pokémon Pokopia on Nintendo Switch 2 to malls and cities around the metro until January 24, 2027.

The Philippine tour follows the truck’s stops in Malaysia and Singapore, where it welcomed more than 250,000 visitors. This time, Filipino Pokémon fans will get their turn to step aboard, play games, take photos, and even meet Pikachu during selected sessions.

What can you do inside the Pokémon Truck?

The custom-built, 17-foot truck houses six Nintendo Switch 2 gaming stations. Four stations inside the truck let visitors try Pokémon Pokopia, where players can create their own world with Pokémon. The other two stations will feature a selection of Nintendo games at featured stops.

Each station comes with a Nintendo Switch 2 system, a Pokémon Pokopia-themed board, and instructions, with staff available to help both first-time players and more experienced fans.

The truck itself comes decked out with dynamic LED displays and sofa seating, so visitors can sit down and spend some time discovering the game.

You don’t necessarily have to spend the whole visit gaming

Pokémon activities are outside, too. The experience also includes an interactive Pokémon Pokopia photo zone and decorative wall for photos. In the outdoor area, children and families can meet Pikachu in person and spend time at a coloring corner.

Visitors can also take home a commemorative Pokémon Pokopia sun visor featuring Pokémon designs while supplies last.

Pikachu mascot appearances may also happen during selected weekend sessions, specifically on selected Saturdays and Sundays at designated time slots, subject to event arrangements. For the full schedule, read on!

You might spot the Pokémon Truck on the road

Even when it isn’t parked at a mall, keep your eyes peeled. From October 2, 2026, to January 24, 2027, the Pokémon Truck will roam specific routes in Parañaque, Las Piñas, Bacoor, Muntinlupa, Imus, Dasmariñas, and General Trias.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, the truck will circulate within city areas. From Fridays to Sundays, it will anchor at selected locations where visitors can enjoy the full gaming experience, event stage, and Pokémon Pokopia activity zones.

“We’re bringing the Pokémon Truck to malls across Metro Manila so that as many people in the Philippines as possible can enjoy this experience,” said Kenichiro Fujino, Manager at The Pokémon Company. “Even if you can’t visit the malls, keep an eye out for the truck as it travels around the city on weekdays. We can’t wait for you to try the game!”
