Last night, netizens were served with piping hot tea when news of Gerald Anderson allegedly cheating on Bea Alonzo with Julia Barretto spilled online. Stolen photos of Gerald and Julia coming to a party and leaving together surfaced, they were even reported to be on a private vacation at the moment. Eagle-eyed netizens were also quick to comment that their respective Instagram accounts mostly contained photos of the two of them even though the movie they’re promoting has been long over. That’s @andersongeraldjr and @juliabarretto if you feel like stalking.
But what pushed the matter to the number 1 trending spot on Twitter this morning was when Bea herself posted a simple black photo on Instagram with the caption “You can’t make the same mistake twice, the second time you make it, it’s not a mistake anymore, it’s a choice.”
One of the 400k+ accounts that liked the photo belonged to Joshua Garcia, Julia’s love team partner, and ex-boyfriend-turned-best-friend.
Although the situation was intense, everyone else took to the internet to express their disappointment, anger, and of course, to create memes.

Meanwhile, Joshua and Julia broke up a few weeks ago in true showbiz fashion, with both saying that no, it wasn’t due to a third party. Hmm.
