Shevchenko had a tough debut against Sarah Kaufmann and will be looking to turn the tables. Unfortunately, she runs headlong onto the “lioness,” Amanda Nunes. Nunes is one of the most ferocious fighters in the women’s bantamweight division and has been looking more and more like a title contender. Unless Shevchenko can put away Nunes quick, expect Nunes to come out the victor–most likely before the end of round one.

In the undercard, Brazilian prospect Erick Silva returns to the octagon. Silva had a promising start to his UFC career until he started losing after every other fight. He just lost to Neil Magny in August but is promising to come back hungrier than ever. He gets a fairly simple test in the form of Nordine Taleb. It’s safe to say that if he doesn’t finish Taleb, he can stick to staying on undercards for the rest of his career.
Like Conor said so himself, “I run this game.” He will go home with yet another performance of the night bonus after he dispatches of bad boy Nate Diaz. A knockout from the prizefighter is just too much to deny him of the bonus.

While Conor’s fight with Diaz is expected to be a quick one, fans can expect Holm vs Tate to be an all out war. It’s most likely going to be finished before the end of the fifth round, but an exchange of fireworks will be enough to grant these two warriors the fight of the night bonus.
