GiGi was hit by a car and everyone thought he wouldn’t make it, but Mississippi’s Wild at Heart Rescue organization President Doug Pojeky, also known as the bird whisperer, wasn’t having it. Almost by sheer force of will, Pojeky nursed GiGi back to health.
As GiGi rested and healed, Pojeky took a break to visit his family. When he came back, GiGi danced on his arm, rested her head on his shoulder and draped her wings around him.
GiGi will be released back into her natural habitat when she makes a full recovery.
A giraffe residing at the Dvur Kralove Zoo in the Czech Republic made the most of his long neck and leaned over the wall that separated him from his neighbor, a rhino, to give him a big fat kiss on the lips. Geez, get a room, you two!
News of a male and female capybara have been making the rounds for being dangerous…ly cute. But seriously, Toronto authorities were searching for the two capybaras after they escaped from the High Park Zoo in late May. One has already been found, but the other is still at large. Here are photos of citizens who last saw the adorable rodents.

This never gets old to us. Redd A1050531 MACC who was pulled of the list 9/23/15, who is adored by his foster parents cannot fathom why he isn't adopted yet. He is very afraid of the cat behind the door that the box is resting upon. Did you ever see a dog tip-toe?#pitbulltiptoe

It takes a mere purr to bring Redd, a fearsome 70-pound brown pit bull, to his knees. In this video, we see Redd, who lives at the New York City shelter Pounds Hounds Res-Q, carefully tiptoe-ing like a ballet dancer to avoid provoking his nemesis. The nemesis? A fellow foster cat.

Abu is a fangirl by day, and a sleeping fangirl by night. She is mostly seen on Twitter which she considers her first home even though she loathes with all her being its cancel culture (We can all grow and learn guys!). She ranks as the Philippines' number one Modern Family fan in QuizUp. She's a cool girl (she also wrote this write-up).
