Who doesn’t love a good, mean burger–the kind that could dramatically change your life after just one bite? We Filipinos have a deep love for food and gastronomic adventures, it’s no wonder newly opened world-class franchises are a hit.
Shake Shack has just opened their first ever branch in the Philippines at BGC. The excitement was too real that people have reportedly been lining up since 10:30 PM the previous evening! And all of this just to get a bite of their world-famous burger and a cup of that delicious chocolate custard. But if you don’t have the money for it (burgers start at P250), or if you want something even more extra, you can pay these other burger joints a visit instead.

There’s a reason classics are classics. Wildflour isn’t only known for their baked treats (which are the best out there), they’re also known for their classic California Burger. The brioche buns sandwich a solid beef patty served on a plank and stabbed so it won’t go anywhere before you take that first bite. This burger is priced at Php 520, you should get one at least once in your life!

If their name doesn’t say it all, then Sweet Ecstasy’s tagline for their burgers (“Making burgers awesome”) will. This hole-in-the-wall burger joint has quickly become a fan-favorite of burger enthusiasts in Metro Manila. You can get your grub fix for as low as Php 205, but you can also add your choice of wings, onion rings, shakes, fries, and more.
8 Cuts Burger Blends

8 Cuts got their name from their featured freshly grounded 8 cuts of beef in custom-blended patties. This joint is your answer for that intense craving for a great burger that with flavors that will knock you out. You can get a burger starting from Php 155, but it’s the Special Stacks, which start at Php 265, is what you should be after.

The 3-Meat Whopper is the kind of meal you’d eat after you run a marathon, or if it’s your last meal on earth, but it’s def worth it! Snack Shack offers fresh grilled handmade burgers that are 100% beef. This small joint is a UP Diliman student favorite. Located inside the campus (and another branch in Sikatuna Village), you can get mouthwatering burgers starting at Php 90. But to get your money’s worth, go for the Php 175 half-pounder with cheese.
