Not everyone can book a spontaneous trip to Siargao, hop on a ferry to Boracay, and cap the weekend in La Union. But for one afternoon in Metro Manila, Lady’s Choice found a way to bring all three destinations together—minus the flights and long drives.

The Lady’s Choice Summer Flavor Club became a laid-back island-inspired gathering that brought together three homegrown restaurants from some of the country’s favorite summer destinations: Loka from Siargao, Smooth Cafe from Boracay, and Fat Wave from La Union. The idea was simple: showcase how the Lady’s Choice Flavored Mayonnaise can inspire a variety of dishes, all while recreating the easygoing energy of a barkada summer trip.

Joining the festivities were Lady’s Choice ambassadors Kaila Estrada, Inka Magnaye, and Jaz Reyes, who got first dibs on the menu alongside content creators.

Nine dishes inspired by three mayo flavors

At the Lady’s Choice Summer Flavor Club, guests wandered through themed zones inspired by the three islands, from surf-shack corners and beach lounge setups to cabanas that felt straight out of a summer getaway. But of course, the food remained the main attraction.

Each restaurant created dishes using one of Lady’s Choice’s Flavored Mayo variants: Cheddar Cheese Mayo, Roasted Garlic Mayo, and Spicy Tuna Mayo.

For fans of all things cheesy, Fat Wave served up Cheesy Chicken Sliders, Smooth Cafe put together Truffle-Parmesan Sweet Potato Fries, while Loka offered Cheesy Sausage Pizza Crunch.

The Roasted Garlic Mayo lineup leaned savory, with Fat Wave’s Cajun Spice Chicken Tenders, Smooth Cafe’s Garlic Prawn Skewers, and Loka’s Roasted Garlic Fish Tacos bringing plenty of bold flavors to the table.

Meanwhile, the Spicy Tuna Mayo dishes delivered a little kick. Fat Wave prepared a Spicy Mayo Tuna Tostada, Smooth Cafe served Crispy Cauliflower Bites, and Loka rounded things out with Sweet & Spicy Creamy Shrimp Pops.

Taken together, the menu showcased how one ingredient can be interpreted in completely different ways depending on the restaurant behind it.

Three islands, one flavorful afternoon

What made the Summer Flavor Club memorable wasn’t just the variety of dishes. It was the way the event captured the feeling of a summer trip with friends—the kind where everyone orders different food, passes plates around, and ends up talking about their favorites long after the meal is over.

Lady’s Choice Brand Manager, Rox Santos said it best: “With Lady’s Choice, we believe great food isn’t just what’s on the plate. It’s about how it brings people together and makes everyday moments feel more special.”

With representatives from La Union, Boracay, and Siargao all under one roof, guests got a small taste of what makes each destination special. And while the collaborations were only available during the event, the afternoon itself served as a reminder of something Lady’s Choice highlighted throughout the gathering: good food has a way of bringing people together.

For a few hours in Quezon City, three of the Philippines’ favorite island destinations did exactly that.
