It’s Wednesday and that means two more days until the weekend. Hooray!  If you’ve got nothing better to do than sitting in the office and doing work, read up on the wittiest, funniest, and saddest news you’ve missed all week! (Work, pft. Right?)

The dying drone that needed saving

What would you do for a drone? Would you get a 24-month loan? Would you climb a tree to get it when it gets stuck? This man was willing to freestyle into dirty, stagnant water, scattered with dead fish and home to a flock of geese just to save his drone that ran out of battery. The rescue was epic and you can almost hear the collective breath of the Twitterverse as the video ended.

 

Home Alone (2019)

In 2019, Kevin’s family willingly leave him alone in the house while they go for their annual vacation. It’s a choice they decide to make year after year because… I mean, look at him. Life has not been kind.

 

You Do Note Girl still owns the internet

All it takes is one funny video and you might be the next internet sensation. We might have laughed at the “You Do Note” girl but now, she’s known nationwide, friends with the likes of Robbie Domingo, and is an endorser for an ad (albeit for Sogo). Who’s laughing now?

 

What in the world is a ‘number neighbor’?

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the 21st century where for the past week, everyone’s past time involved texting and/or calling their number neighbors. The number neighbor trend works like this: you text your number but switch the last digit to a plus or minus one. It’s certainly a fun activity (not for those whose number neighbors are their relatives) and the internet wasted no time texting theirs.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth split after 8 months of marriage

It’s true what they say, you’ll never truly know a person. One minute they’re everything you’ve ever dreamed of, the next they become a total stranger. When Miley and Liam had a private wedding last December 2018, everybody gushed at the Instagram photos. We thought that that was it, after a rocky on-again-off-again relationship they would finally settle down and live happily ever after. Fast forward to 8 months later, we receive news of the split and we see photos of Miley kissing Kaitlynn Carter. Love is real, sure, but nothing is ever permanent in this world.
