Following the fiasco among vloggers and social media personalities that was dominating the internet this past week, netizens have expressed how tired they are of the negativity and toxicity on social media. While Zeinab Harake has already issued an apology, you might be tired of seeing all the messy public confrontations and fighting. So if you’re one of many on the lookout for unproblematic content creators who share chill, relaxing, and wholesome content, you should check out the vloggers on this list:
Cebu-based vlogger and influencer Kryz Uy has been in the social media scene for the longest time, starting as a fashion blogger in the late 2000s. While she still shares beauty and fashion tips, her content has since transformed to focus on family and motherhood. Every few days, she posts a new vlog, where she shares parts of her daily life as a caring mother and wife. Her husband Slater Young also runs his own vlog, which is focused more on home and engineering tips. Together, they host the SKY Podcast, where they discuss anything from life, relationships, and family to memorable misadventures in between. Follow Kryz Uy on Youtube.
Comedian and Youtuber Cong Velasquez began his internet career making parodies and sketches before he shifted to vlogging with his Team Payaman crew, of which he is the leader. Known for his down-to-earth Pinoy-style humor, he was able to draw many fans in for his relatable content. Since his partner Viy Cortez gave birth to their son, they have also turned to more family-centered content, but still with the Pinoy humor he’s well known for. Follow Cong TV on Youtube .
The vlog of actress and singer Kristel Fulgar, KrisTells Vlog has all sorts of content in her channel from house tours and travel records to beauty and fashion. She is also a big fan of K-drama, K-pop, and all things K-culture, so you’ll see a lot of her vlogs about South Korea’s language, food, fashion, music, shows, and more. Kristel is actually in South Korea right now, with plans to study there and live alone. Follow KrisTells Vlog on Youtube.
Saab started blogging as early as 2003, tackling all different sorts of topics from travel and music to life and style. Nowadays, her content highlights her daily life with her husband Jim Bacarro and their two kids: miracle baby Pancho and younger Vito. Aside from family vlogs, she is also known for the podcast she hosts with her husband, Wake Up With Jim and Saab, where they tackle all sorts of topics and occasionally invite guests. Gen Z icon Janina Vela has been making videos since she was only 15 years old. But seven years in and she has delved into many diverse topics, including family, mental health, and socio-political content. Follow Janina Vela on Youtube.
While there are plenty of Pinoy food vloggers around, there’s none like Ninong Ry, who teaches his viewers how to cook classic Filipino dishes in a simple, straightforward way. His kitchen space is simple like a regular Filipino home’s, making viewers able to relate better than heavily edited vlogs. He also sprinkles a lot of spontaneity and humor throughout his vlogs. Follow Ninong Ry on Youtube.
Initially gaining the attention of the internet due to a lipsync video of “Dalagang Pilipina”, Mimiyuuuh or Mimi unapologetically leans into her ~local j3j3 gurl~ persona to make her viewers laugh.
