Halloween is that time of the year when people bring out the spookiest and most jaw-dropping costumes they have. The celebration might be over, but we still can’t get over the looks these celebrities wore. Check them out!
Anya Taylor-Joy? Nope! That’s actually actress Rhian Ramos as Elizabeth Harmon of the hit Netflix series The Queen’s Gambit. The resemblance is uncanny, and you can really tell that Rhian and her team put a lot of effort into creating this iconic look.
If you’re one of the many people who danced to the Kahit Ayaw Mo Na challenge made viral by internet star Mimiyuuuh, her look will surely take you down memory lane. For Halloween, Mimiyuuuh wore high-waisted pants, a shirt with a Mean Girls print, and of course, the pink Lucky Star cabinet that’s present in most of her older videos. Talk about being authentically you for Halloween.
“Moon Prism Power, Make Up!” No, seriously. That’s probably the first thing that crossed your mind after seeing Kris Bernal’s Sailor Moon ensemble. The Kapuso actress took Pinoy ’90s babies back to their childhood, and you can check out her YouTube vlog if you’re curious how the whole costume was created.
While most celebs sported getups from iconic films and shows, content creator and our favorite ~*mima*~ Sassa Gurl, dressed up as an online seller. How many times have we seen hardworking online sellers in our social feeds? Sassa’s outfit has just the right mix of campiness and fun, and we can’t help but stan!
Andrea Brillantes isn’t only a talented actress, she knows how to slay a Halloween look, too! Andrea decided to be La Muerte from The Book of Life. Like the ancient goddess, the actress embodied glam and elegance in every angle, from her sparkly gown and fierce make-up to her giant hat!
Celebrity couples are known for dressing up in matching ‘fits for the spooky season. Alexa Ilacad and KD Estrada traveled back to the 19th century, dressing up as Emily and Victor of The Corpse Bride. There might be a debate on who Victor should’ve ended up with, but we can all agree that Alexa and KD nailed it.
This uncle and niece duo is known for pulling off great Halloween looks, and this year was no exception. Bretman Rock and Cleo took us to the enchanting world of The Wizard of Oz. Meanwhile, Ezekiel was dressed as a cute little bear! Bretman has no problems embodying the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion, and the Tin Man. Fierce!
Kyline and Mavvy looked lovely in pink with their take on the iconic couple Barbie and Ken. They even had a giant pink box to complete the look!
Which of these Pinoy celebrity Halloween costumes is your favorite? Let us know!
