This year is even more special, as Jollibee’s first-ever #MyKwentongJollibee short films feature real-life couples recounting their unique love stories, in their own words. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Paolo Villaluna, each story has its own perspective on how bravely embracing love can bring new wonder and joy into one’s life.

Finding forever on the job

Remember that viral prenup photoshoot in Jollibee from a few years back? Now, we can learn more about this unique love story in the series’ first film. Entitled “From Crewmates to Soulmates”, the short shares the love story of Marife and Arnan, who met in Jollibee as members of the store team. The film retells the details of their love story, from their friendship, to courtship, to finally finding forever.

The second film “Second Chance at First Love” tells the story of Mico and Camille, who met when they were teenagers at a summer review class. They were polar opposites, but Mico mustered up the courage to ask Camille out on a date. He brought her to Jollibee, and even though it was a place they both loved, the two novice daters didn’t exactly hit it off. And so, after their dud of a first date, they went their separate ways. But destiny wasn’t done with them yet. Years later, they reunited. How exactly did their love story play out the second time around? You’ll have to watch the film to find out.
