Belly’s relationship with the Fisher Brothers has taken the world by storm, raising a very important question: #TeamJeremiah or #TeamConrad? Well, based on people’s reactions online, it seems that #TeamConrad is picking up the pace.

To celebrate the season finale of Jenny Han’s The Summer I Turned Pretty, let’s look back on our favorite Bonrad scenes from Season 3, including the long-awaited season finale.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD.

1. A Belly & Conrad Christmas

After not seeing each other for years, Belly and Conrad find themselves in the summer house together for Christmas. The two spent the holiday existing around each other’s presence, just like how they used to.

2. Conrad accompanies Belly to wedding errands.

As the wedding nears and with Jeremiah caught up at work, Belly is left to do wedding errands by herself—or at least that’s what she thinks. Conrad steps in and decides to accompany Belly on her errands.

This is no easy task for Conrad as he’s still actively trying to let Belly go, but Conrad can’tseem to say no to her. In spite of his feelings, Conrad assures Belly and helps her with her wedding preparation woes.

3. Belly finds out Conrad got her mom on board for the wedding.

Mothers typically play a very important role in their daughters’ wedding preparations as they accompany them to various wedding milestones, especially finding the perfect wedding dress. The wedding causes Belly and Laurel’s relationship to sour, leaving Belly without her mom during important pre-wedding activities.

After seeing Belly cry, Conrad realizes how much it means for Belly to have her mom in the wedding. He meets up with Laurel and convinces her to support Belly in her endeavors, and in true Conrad fashion, he succeeds.

4. Conrad’s love confession on Cousins Beach

Is this really a TSITP season without an emotional beach confession? After years of pent-up yearning, Conrad finally tells Belly his feelings. However, he lays it all out at a bad time, the night before Belly gets married. (Fans love this scene as it’s a perfect word-for-word adaptation of the book.)

5. Conrad says goodbye to Belly on her wedding day

After a hectic and catastrophic morning, Conrad finds himself speaking to Belly as she prepares to walk down the aisle. Conrad apologizes to Belly for everything that happened over the past 24 hours.
This is Conrad’s final effort to tell Belly how he feels, declaring that it was all worth it to him. It’s bittersweet, as Conrad bids her farewell and wishes her the very best moving forward with her life with Jeremiah.

After moving into her new apartment in Paris, Belly finally writes back to Conrad, thanking him for sending letters and Junior Mint. Short, but I guess, sweet! It’s soon revealed that the postcard sits nicely in Conrad’s wallet, indicating the importance of Belly’s response to Conrad.

7. Conrad at Belly’s pre-birthday party with her Parisian friends

After a long day of touring Paris, Belly invites Conrad to her pre-birthday party celebration with her Parisian friends. It’s an intimate gathering where Conrad also got to meet Belly’s community, the people who supported her during her stay in Paris.

It’s refreshing to see Conrad finally stand up for himself and be confident about his feelings towards Belly. The night ended with an intimate scene shared by Belly and Conrad in the city of love.

Viewers would think that everything is going well between the two; however, yet another difficult but necessary conversation arises between Conrad and Belly. They talk about Belly’s fears for her relationship with Conrad, especially her uncertainty about the foundation of their love and the promises she couldn’t make. Conrad leaves for Brussels with a heavy heart. But are we out of the woods?

Soon after Conrad leaves Belly’s apartment, Belly reaches a moment of clarity, realizing that it will always be Conrad and that their feelings are not superficial. Then, the very moment #TeamConrad has been waiting for finally arrives: Belly runs after Conrad and professes her love.

The show ends with Belly and Conrad together, back at Cousin’s beach and the summer house. #TeamConrad rejoices with the two finally together!
