The most awaited time of the year is almost here — for book lovers, that is. No, not the long Christmas season. We’re talking about the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), and we’re sure any bookworm is eagerly counting the days to the five-day celebration of the written word.

MIBF 2026 is happening from 9 to 13 September 2026 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

At MIBF 2026, you can expect to:

• meet and greet your favorite authors (maybe even get them to sign your books!)
• attend various talks, workshops, and activities

Simultaneously happening in SMX Convention Center is School World 2026, where attendees can expect to explore not only educational books but also non-book educational products such as digital learning technologies, teaching & instructional aids, campus solutions, administrative & institutional tools, etc. These offerings are designed to support schools, educators, and students with modern, innovative resources beyond traditional print materials.

Tickets for the two events are already available for sale via SM Tickets. Each ticket is priced at PHP 50, but did you know you can get FREE passes from many brands and vendors joining the fair?

How to use the FREE passes for MIBF 2026

Here’s how you can get your free tickets to MIBF 2026. There are two ways:

• Visit the stores of select vendors and ask the staff for a free MIBF ticket.
• Simply download the ticket from any vendor’s social media page below, then print it and bring it to MIBF!

Note that you need to print your ticket. Screenshots and PDFs will NOT be accepted.
