Between the Star Magic Ball, Liza Soberano’s dress, some Facebook pages being petitioned to get deleted, Ginebra escaping the kangkungan, Liza Soberano’s face, Lawin putting some places in the country into a state of calamity, and Liza Soberano’s existence; It’s been a hell of a week in the Philippines, don’t you think?

It’s one of those weeks when we wonder if we’re sadist freaks for digging up shit on the ‘net that makes us feel bad. Jon Sudano, everyone’s new favorite musician, records these genius covers of Adele, Evanescence, and John Lennon songs but with a smashing twist – he sings all of them with Smashmouth’s All Star lyrics. All his videos are shot in what looks like his bedroom at an awkward angle, which makes them all the more adorable and relatable. And I think that’s beautiful.
