In one of the best (if not the best) performances on the AI stage, Adam Lambert’s Mad World made everyone believe him a shoo-in come the finale. It’s just that insanely good. Not to mention this was the performance that made Simon Cowell say, “I think words are unnecessary, but I want to give you a standing ovation.” I don’t know about you, but Cowell saying that gave me as many goosebumps as Lambert’s performance.
There will probably be a healthy and intense debate about which performance of Kelly Clarkson on AI is her best, but her rendition of this Aretha Franklin classic will definitely win all arguments. Between all of Clarkson’s incredible performances (let’s not forget her first hit single A Moment Like This), this performance put American Idol on the world’s must-watch list. And boy, does that high note at the end just get you every time you watch it.
There’s not even a proper way to describe this performance. It’s just pure diva and goosebumps throughout the whole video. Why didn’t Jessica win this thing?!
This chill yet electrifying performance of Fantasia was proof that she is definitely one of the best singers to ever perform on AI. A lot of people thought that J.Hud was the deserving winner of Season 3, but this performance proved all cynics wrong. “I don’t think you’ve put those lips to better use,” Simon Cowell said, and it’s the perfect way to describe it.

She is mostly seen on Twitter which she considers her first home even though she loathes with all her being its cancel culture (We can all grow and learn guys!). She ranks as the Philippines' number one Modern Family fan in QuizUp. She's a cool girl (she also wrote this write-up).
