3. The PPPP aka the Panakot ng Papansing Pulitiko Program

In 2013, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) launched the Bawal Ang Epal Dito Drive to dissociate the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (PPPP or 4Ps) from the many candidates who use it for their personal agenda.

The 4Ps is a DSWD program that provides the poor with conditional cash grants that can improve their overall lifestyles. Many devious candidates, however, have used the 4Ps as a way to reach the voting public. Some have gone as far as to vow that those who don’t vote for them will be removed from the program’s beneficiary list, even though DSWD is the only authority that can do so. How do these people sleep at night?

Sometimes, in a desperate attempt to appeal to the younger crowd, some epal-iticians will decide to dress as superheroes or Jedis to seem hip and cool. Said cringe-worthy strategy has been proven to fail horribly. Superman must be turning over in his grave…oooops!
