If you’re into classic films, this film adaptation of a renowned Nick Joaquin play is a must-see. It revolves around the story of an impoverished painter, his two daughters, and his obra maestra during the pre-World War II era. It is where the movie Ang Larawan, a 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, was based. It was restored in 2014 and was re-released in 2018, and you can finally stream it on iFlix.
The Hows of Us was such a hit last year that it became one of the highest grossing Filipino films of all time. Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel (more popularly known as KathNiel) portray a loving couple who is faced with the challenges of being in a long-distance relationship. Prepare your tissues, this one’s an ultimate tearjerker.

Can’t get enough of Noah Centineo? He’s ready to collect hearts again as he plays another charming high schooler in this newest Netflix offering. The Perfect Date centers around Centineo’s character who launched an app to sell himself as fake plus-one for events so he could earn money for college. This rom-com will definitely make your teenage heart melt, also because Camila Mendes of Riverdale is included in the cast.

It’s no secret that former child stars Carlo Aquino and Angelica Panganiban were old flames, and while years have passed, their undeniable chemistry remains intact. This film is proof. Whether you’ve already seen it or you’re itching for a re-watch, you can finally watch CarGel play as exes on your laptop with a tub of ice cream at hand, or you know, with fellow sawi friends.
Ten years ago, Encantadia was one of the pillars of TV primetime, a fantasy series that molded the childhood of today’s millennials. A decade later, iFlix is reviving our favorite sang’gres with Mystified, a fantasy film from the same director of Encantadia. All the original sang’gres: Sunshine Dizon, Iza Calzado, Karylle and Diana Zubiri is included in this film, and they join forces to defeat the evil in the film. This is the glow up we deserve!
Watch it exclusively on iFlix.
If your idea of a long break includes crying over your recently concluded relationship or moping about your sad life, then this film might help you cope with that. From the producers of Bridesmaids, Someone Great is a film about the realities of adulthood—from trying not to contact your ex to finding out what makes you feel real and contented. We don’t know about you, but Four Sisters and a Wedding is a film that deserves more than just one re-watch. It’s got a perfect mix of comedy and drama, and the plot resonates with everyone because it resembles that of a lot of typical Filipino families. Most of the scenes here became iconic memes on social media. You can finally replay Teddie’s “Ma, I’m sorry ma!” or listen to Bobbie’s iconic “Bakit parang kasalanan ko?” multiple times! Go watch it with your fam after Visita Iglesia.
