Her role: Lim Ji-yeon plays Seoul, the leader of the mercenaries working outside the mint. She works directly under Berlin, whom she followed all over the world from North Korea to Russia to the now-reunified Korea. Her character is an original created exclusively for the Korean adaptation.

High Society

The plot: Jang Yoon-ha (Uee) seems like a simple lady on the outside, working a part-time job at a food market and living an ordinary life. In reality, she is the youngest daughter of a chaebol family arranged to marry another chaebol heir. But what she really wants to do is find a man who’ll love her for who she is.

Her role: She plays Lee Ji-yi, the best friend of Jang Yoon-ha. Ji-yi meets Yoon-ha’s fiance Yoo Chang-soo (Park Hyung-sik), who falls for her as she overlooked his wealth and status. Lim Ji-yeon won several Best New Actress awards for her performance in this series.

The plot: Lee Jae-sang (Rain) is a top lawyer, working at one of the biggest firms in the country. But it comes at the cost of sacrificing his personal life and even his love. After getting caught in a mysterious car accident, he gets drawn into a parallel world, where he lives a vastly different life.

Her role: Lim Ji-yeon plays Ra Si-on, Jae-sang’s ex-girlfriend in his original world and his faithful wife in the parallel world. She won a Top Excellence Award for her role in this series.

The plot: After defecting from North Korea, Kim Mi-poong finds herself entangled in a conflict over family inheritances in South Korea.

Her role: She plays Kim Mi-poong, a bright and easygoing girl who studies dancing. Lim Ji-yeon won an Excellence Award for her lead role here.

The plot: After being forced to live as a commoner, former prince and gambling genius Dae-gil (Jang Geun-suk) dedicates his life to taking revenge on the king. Spiritwalker

The plot: After getting caught in a car crash, secret agent Kang I-an (Yoon Kye-sang) wakes up unable to remember anything about his life and with a new mysterious condition. Every 12 hours, he finds himself in a new body. He needs to figure out who he is all while evading all the people coming after him.

Her role: She plays Moon Jin-ah, one of Kang I-an’s former gun-toting colleagues. Jin-ah has been looking for I-an, but she is unable to recognize him due to his changing bodies.

Obsessed

The plot: With a commander for a father-in-law and a beautiful wife, decorated war hero Colonel Kim Jin-pyong becomes the subject of envy and jealousy among his colleagues. Her role: Lim Ji-yeon plays Jong Ga-heun, the wife of Colonel Kim Jin-pyong’s subordinate. After being saved by the colonel, she begins an affair with him, but things quickly spiral out of control. Lim Ji-yeon received several nominations and awards for her performance in this movie.
