What if a restaurant had not just one or five or ten floors, but 23 stories? This mockup design of a supposed Mang Inasal Tower want you to imagine exactly that. The fast food chain is best known not just for its delicious chicken inasal, but also for its unlimited rice that can definitely fill your stomach. Which is exactly why they are ever popular among Pinoys and why there’s always a long line of people waiting for a next free table. But in the Mang Inasal Tower, there’s no need to wait anymore.
Facebook user and architecture student David T. Asagra shared his mockup of a proposed high-rise Mang Inasal Tower. The images show 23 floors gloriously filled with Mang Inasal from top to bottom, which is said to be able to accommodate up to 2,500 customers.
The proposed high-rise building features an urban and modern design painted in the signature green, red, and yellow of Mang Inasal. It even has spaces for its own ads, including a huge billboard of brand ambassador Coco Martin!
According to his post, he hopes to build this tower in either of two main business districts: Makati or Bonifacio Global City.
The post has quickly gone viral. As of writing, it has garnered over 36,000 reactions, 26,000 shares, and 2,800 comments on the main post alone.
Filipino netizens definitely love the idea of a Mang Inasal Tower, leading to lots of witty quips and comments about the idea. Here are some of our favorites:
Unli rise po dito sa high rice tower! Este, unli rice sa high-rise tower.
Sa dami nga naman ng tables, there’s no need to line up anymore for that unli rice.
You might not need to wait for tables, but you may need to wait for your actual order… Kaya pa ba ng gutom?
We hope there’s a crew member dedicated to refill rice on each floor. Or else… Stay strong, Mang Inasal Tower crew!
Paano nga naman kung mag-order ka sa 1st floor pero sa top floor na lang ang bakanteng table? Elevator please.
Signature Mang Inasal de parfum. Even in the elevator.
Looking for: comfort room please,
Mang Inasal Hotel na po ba ang next?
Anything can happen…
It’s the most Filipino masa-core Building I have ever seen and I unequivocally support it
