Being glued to the news for updates regarding the ongoing pandemic can take its toll on you sometimes. Even people working at home or attending online classes get overwhelmed with the amount of workload. There many ways to cope with the current public health issue and one of them is watching relaxing videos! If you need a break or just want to find new creators, here’s a list of YouTube videos to watch for a much-needed breather.
If you’re a fan of lo-fi hip hop music then you’ve probably heard curated playlists by Chilled Cow, or more specifically “beats to relax/study to”, that 24/7 stream with the animated girl studying by the window. The beloved YouTube channel has been helping us relax/study/work since 2017.
Silent vlogs are on the rise on YouTube now, and Sueddu makes some of the best ones. She’s a designer and an author who documents her life of living alone. Her home’s interiors are just aesthetically pleasing and you’ll always end up looking forward to seeing her cute dog.
Relaxing cooking videos, cats, funny commentary, and quirky utensils; what more could you ask for? Nino’s Home makes easy to follow recipes you can make at home and they’re very relaxing! He doesn’t use background music; you’ll only hear sounds of chopping ingredients, frying, and the like. Nino doesn’t show his face though, as he only hides behind a bear mask.
Haegreendal takes content creation on YouTube to another level. She’s a Korean vlogger and designer who documents her life as a stay-at-home mom. According to her, she started making videos to document her son’s life as he grows up. And they’re not just regular vlogs – they all look cinematic and well-produced. You’ll learn different recipes from her and ways to take care of household items.
If you’re a fan of stationery, journaling, art, and K-pop, you’ll fall in love with milkcloud. They’re German twins who make very relaxing journaling and painting videos. The twins like to stay anonymous; milk makes all the art content while cloud takes over pen pal and journal content. If you want to get into journaling, don’t miss out on their videos! They’re also huge fans of Studio Ghibli, and milk often paints sceneries from their films.
Ahnyeongs is a Filipina vlogger who documents her life as a student. Her videos show what being a high school student is like in the Philippines and honestly, you’ll want to be productive too after watching her videos. She’s also a fan of K-pop!
Goldson is an art channel run by a Korean artist. She makes illustrations using different mediums, but she mostly does them using oil pastels. Who knew that the art medium we used to ignore as kids can make beautiful pieces? If you’re also in a creative rut or want to start drawing, Goldson is a great inspiration.
Alyanna Ross is another student vlogger from the Philippines. She makes “study with me” videos and university vlogs that will inspire you to be as productive. Perfect for when you need that extra motivation (sans the stress).

When she’s not writing, Ina’s busy curating playlists that will save her when words don’t work, reading, annoying her cat, or thinking of her next meal.
