President Rodrigo Duterte delivered his annual State of the Nation Address (SONA) for the third time today. As expected, it was full of drama and plot twists.  We still got four more SONAs to go through. Yay.

While the President and his speech would be enough to fill several 8List, we’d like to focus on something else (for now): the outfits. Last year’s SONA saw politicians and prominent personalities dressed to the nines, with some even raising eyebrows thanks to their chosen ensemble. This year didn’t disappoint, as seen on these standout personalities.

Nancy Binay

Every year people make it to a point to mock the Senator’s ensemble; but this year, the Senator actually looks really good with her blush blue ensemble complete with her gorgeous bob cut.

Heart Evangelista

Evangelista is one of the personalities that people look forward to come SONA, and this year she didn’t disappoint! Her Mark Bumgarner designed piece was one of the standouts at this year’s affair.

Jinkee Pacquiao

Another rising fashion star is Jinkee Pacquiao. The famed boxer’s wife looked every bit of elegant with her fashionable all-white ensemble. Definitely two thumbs up!

Salvador Panelo

The Presidential Legal Adviser once again turned heads with his striking outfit at this year’s SONA affair. Though his ensemble this year is “tamer” than last year’s, he still looked like he’s judging a singing competition.

Heart Evangelista

We had to put her twice because she. Did. That!

Stella Quimbo

Marikina Rep. Miro Quimbo’s wife finished her immaculate white ensemble with an embellished cape. A definite scene stealer!

Geraldine Roman

The Bataan Rep chose to rock a royal blue figure-hugging terno that literally snatched our wig.

Toby Tiangco

The congressman looked every bit of dashing with his dapper blue patterned suit.
