Taft is a cornucopia of affordable restaurants perfect for the average budget-constrained student (See: 8 Student Budget Friendly Places to Eat at Taft Avenue). Almost everything is there: a range of coffee shops, the best fast food chains, convenience stores, and even an Angel’s Burger branch! But if you’re a Taft veteran you must be looking for something new to spend your time with. Here are 8 new places where you can eat and hangout with your friends (even if you’re just dropping by).

Everything But Cheese has found its way in Taft and is settling here for the long run. Students are more than welcome to get acquainted (and eventually addicted) to the daringly cheesy menu. You can find affordable cheeseburgers, craft sandwiches, pasta, nachos, and cheese fondue and dips, a hearty menu that can tide you over until your next class.
