Korean Dramas to Watch Out For This Month Before the Year Ends

Dec 6, 2021   •   Meryl Medel

We’re already in the last month of the year (last month?! Can you believe it?!), but the Hallyu wave isn’t stopping anytime soon. We’ve gotten a lot of quality Korean dramas during this past year — from action-packed Sisyphus: The Myth and Vincenzo to healing and heartwarming Hospital Playlist (Season 2) and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha to blockbuster hits Squid Game and Hellbound — but this last month of the year still has a lot in store for K-drama lovers! These are the shows you need to watch out for this December before the year is over:

The story: In their younger days, high school sweethearts Choi Woong (Choi Woo-sik) and Kook Yeon-Ssoo (Kim Da-mi) filmed a documentary together, but they broke up afterward. Years later, the documentary has gone viral, forcing the ex-lovers back into the spotlight and into each other’s lives. But standing in front of the camera together again might just rekindle feelings they thought were gone.

He’s estranged from his older sister Joon-hee (Jeon Hye-jin), until his nephew suddenly appears in front of him. He begins taking care of his nephew while his sister deals with her divorce and separation from her abusive husband.

Bad and Crazy

But his life changes when he meets K (Wi Ha-joon). K is a righteous yet crazy person, who dreams of being a hero and cannot turn away from injustices and instead meets it with his fist.

Min Sang-woon (Kwon Na-ra) used to be immortal, but she has now reincarnated as a human and she remembers everything about the past lives she has lived.
