Jun 18, 2022   •   Ina Louise Manto

Themed around animation, comics, and games, Bilibili is your one-stop website and app for streaming your favorite animated shows and movies and supporting gaming streamers. From the classic titles we grew up with to up-and-coming shows, here are some shows and movies you can stream ad-free when you sign up for an account on Bilibili:

Dragon Ball

Here’s to the kids of the 80s and 90s who grew up watching the Filipino-dubbed version televised in the morning. First released in 1986, Dragon Ball is based on the manga of the same name serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 1984. Ready to scream Kamehameha with Goku again?

Watch it here.

Slam Dunk

Here’s another anime show that will give you a whiff of nostalgia! Whether you grew up copying the moves or swooning over the players of Shohoku High School, it’s undeniable that Slam Dunk paved the way for sports anime. Who was your crush then?

Watch it here.

Haikyuu!!

Speaking of sports anime, you just can’t skip on Haikyuu!! The manga illustrated and written by Haruichi Furudate was first released in February 2012, with an animated adaptation in 2014. It features Shoyo Hinata, a high school student who wishes to become a great volleyball player. While we wait for its fifth season, you can get started and start the volleyball obsession here.

Spy x Family

Unless you’re living under a rock, you’ve probably heard of the Spy x Family craze since its weekly anime release beginning April this year. Based on the manga of the same name by Tatsuya Endo, this highly popular anime features a family with an odd but charming dynamic: Loid Forger, the top spy; Anya Forger, the telepath daughter; and Yor Forger, the assassin mother. We can’t get enough of Anya!

This romantic anime is based on the manga written and illustrated by Naoshi Arakawa featuring two musicians: Kousei Arima, a child prodigy for playing the piano, and Kaori Miyazono, a violinist. According to fans, it’s one of the most emotional anime released in the past decade. It even got a live-action film in 2016, starred by Alice in Borderland’s Kento Yamazaki.
