With long weekends and weather that switches between sweltering hot and wet and gloomy, August pretty much gives us enough reasons to spend lazy weekends bundled up in bed and watching Netflix shows (if you aren’t the type to check out all the events happening this month, at least).

Here are 8 of the new upcoming Netflix Originals you should catch this August!

No one would have guessed that Matt Groening would ever create something outside of The Simpsons, until Disenchantment was introduced. This new show possesses the same disturbing humor and occasional violence that The Simpsons was known and loved for as it follows the story of Princess Bean — a rebel and an alcoholic — her elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci in the medieval kingdom of Dreamland.

When an unattractive and bullied girl suddenly blossoms into a beautiful woman, you’d think of all the clichés that films and TV have used time and time again with a storyline like that. However, it’s different with new Netflix show Insatiable.
