Chef’s Table: Pastry

This Emmy-nominated series is set to tickle our sweet tooth by showing what happens behind the scenes and what goes into the minds of the world’s best pastry chefs — Christina Tosi of Milk Bar, Will Goldfarb of Room 4 Dessert in Bali, Indonesia, Jordi Roca of three Michelin star restaurant El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain, and Corrado Assenza of Caffé Sicilia in Noto, Sicily.

Lost in Space

This latest reboot of the classic American sci-fi series follows the Robinson family who encounters a rip in spacetime which throws their spaceship off-course, crash-landing them to an unknown planet lightyears away from their intended destination. Faced with the mysteries of this alien planet, they must survive the horrors of the unpredictable environment while also overcoming their own inner demons to be able to leave.

Based on a true story, Come Sunday is a film about globally-renowned pastor Carlton Pearson who comes under fire by his church for preaching something different from what is written in the bible.

This comedy movie stars Adam Sandler and Chris Rock as fathers of a soon-to-be bride and groom who attempt to plan the best wedding for their children despite having opposing personalities.

In this chilling and emotional film, we are given a glimpse of what it’s like to care for a family member addicted to drugs. Starring Abbi Jacobson as Katie and Dave Franco as heroine-addicted Seth, 6 Balloons follows these two siblings as they struggle for resolution before Seth totally destroys himself and the lives of those around him.
