Among them are Korean celebrities who have expressed love for their Pinoy fans and the country’s rich cultural heritage. But not all of them come for our pristine beaches, lush mountains, and secluded islands. Some visit the most random places, like these K-celebs:

This moment is probably the crossover of all crossovers! K-pop fans went wild after EXO’s Kai shared a pic in front of an SM store. For those who don’t know, Kai’s under SM Entertainment, and no, it’s not related to SM Supermalls. But still, the post made everyone giggle. Who knows, though, we might see a Kai x SM Supermalls collab in the future! *cross fingers*

Ji Chang Wook in Greenbelt 5

K-drama fans were overjoyed to see South Korean actor Ji Chang Wook walking the busy hallways of Greenbelt 5 in Makati. He was also seen hanging out at a cafe and playing with a stray cat. Aww!~ Talk about being an absolute sweetheart!

SEVENTEEN in SM MOA (Mall of Asia) Seaside

Ahead of their successful Be The Sun concert in Manila, SEVENTEEN’s DK, and Joshua were spotted having a blast at the SM MOA Seaside. What’s more, they also tried the scream-worthy Dream Twister ride! Meanwhile, another member, Mingyu, was spotted taking a stroll by the bay, admiring the glorious sunset like the rest of us. 

TAN (To All Nations) in Intramuros

This seven-member boy group visited the Philippines recently to meet their Filipino fans. The boys didn’t also miss the chance to explore Manila’s cultural spots like Intramuros. Hopefully, they’ll be back again because our country has so much to offer. 

Jay B (GOT7) in Poblacion

Imagine having a casual night out with your friends, and then spotting GOT7’s Jay B. That’s what happened after someone shared their encounter with him at Poblacion. He was seen with singer-songwriter James Reid, and to quote what the fan said: “Seeing Jay B up close MADE ME WEAK!!!!!”

Yunhyeong at a Jollibee store

Even iKON’s vocalist Yunhyeong couldn’t resist the juicylicious and crispylicious Jollibee chicken joy. And who can blame him? There’s a reason why countless Filipinos love Jollibee, and anyone who enjoys it is always more than welcome. 

MOMOLAND at SM MOA Hypermarket

With over 80 branches nationwide, it’s not surprising at this point to see international acts gracing an SM Supermall. One Twitter user shared their encounter with the K-pop girl group MOMOLAND at a supermarket. It was so random, and we couldn’t help but say, “Sana all!”

Bambam (GOT7) and Sandara Park at Gerry’s Grill

Everybody knows Sandara Park loves the Philippines. So, it didn’t come as a surprise to see her share her Filipino roots with others like GOT7’s Bambam. The 25-year-old K-pop star shared on Instagram how Sandara flew to the Philippines to bring him to Gerry’s Grill. Of course, Sandara made sure Bambam tried some local beer and learned to say “Shot puno!” like a Pinoy.
